Contra Costa Times - There’s a new coffee shop in El Cerrito called 33 Revolutions. The cool part is that it sells old vinyl for a buck, collector’s vinyl for alot of bucks, but best of all, you can grab the vinyl out of the bin, plop it on a turntable, and play it. dangit.

The Record Album - Selling vinyl since 1948

the record albumdj spyder has a story on The Record Album in Brighton, where Geroge Ginn has been selling vinyl (successfully!) since 1948. Makes me want to take  a few days off and head to Brighton.

Mystery Train Records - Gloucester, MA

The arts section of The Guardian today has a blurb on by michael Hann today on a recent discovery of a record shop in an unlikely seaside  town.

I WISH I had that kind of luck. Stumbling my way into a vinyl shop. Seems like everytime i find a vinyl shop in a strange town, it’s closed.
