The News Gazette ran a story this morning about a huge record sale going on the 17th.

The annual Vintage Vinyl record sale, which features thousands of used records, tapes, CDs and used stereo equipment, is fast approaching.

oh, man.. i would love to hit this, and take my whole allowance…

The Age  has an interesting article today about their move to a major label. not a whole lot of shocking news, but it was interesting that they allowed their indie indie label the rights to release the new album on vinyl.

DocMuzic posted an interesting peek behind the curtain at The Vault, a Live365 station that plays nonstop hard to find vinyl and 12″ mixes. At some point today, i am gonna tune in.

NY band A Place to Bury Strangers apparently had some SNAFU in their music this week that totally broke the record plant. According to the story, the volume of the band’s recording was so amped, that it broke the record press. Not much else is known.
