This is an interesting story. many moons ago, in the town where i was born and raised, there was a flood. i used to hear stories about that flood as i was growing up. the guy who taught me how to take a photograph runs the historical society on the dam disaster. he has posted on his blog today a vinyl rip of a song written about the dam disaster. go see the story for more details!
Just for the sake of google power, the name of the artist and info reads: 5216, “Vocalion: The Breaking of The St. Francis Dam, Jenkins, Edd Rice, Singing, with Guitar”
